Sweet N' Sour End of Year Announcements (w/ Christmas Special & End of Year Rankings!)

Hey guys! Happy Thanksgiving! It's been an interesting year. Looking back on it, 2021 has kind of gone by fast. Maybe it was because 2020 took forever. But we can only go up. 2022 is going to be a great year. I can feel it.

But, for now, we have to finish off 2021. And, oh boy, do I have plans for this December. So here are some upcoming posts that you can look forward to at the end of the year.

I will be reviewing Ghostbusters: Afterlife soon and getting a ranking of the Ghostbusters movies out, too. I haven't gotten the chance to see it, but I will try to get that in this weekend.

Also, the two big movies I haven't reviewed this year are No Time to Die and Free Guy. I sadly missed No Time to Die in theaters, but I am also planning on watching it before the year is over so I can include it in my end of year lists. I also want to get a ranking out of the Daniel Craig movies. I will also watch Free Guy and get it in my end of year rankings. I probably won't review it, because my review of Jungle Cruise did not perform as well as I'd hoped. There will still be a No Time to Die review, though.

Until the second half of December, there's a big gap of space with barely any movies. I'm going to try to bring back some of the fun posts I was doing before. So, sometime soon, you can expect a Fact or Fiction or two and a How to Make Something Sweet that fits in with the end of the year. I'll give you a hint: Dancing. See if you can figure it out.

I will also do weekly reviews of Hawkeye. Usually, I wouldn't do this, but there's not going to be a lot of new stuff in the next few weeks, so I will be giving you my weekly thoughts on the show.

West Side Story comes out in early December, so I will be reviewing that, as well as giving my thoughts on Steven Spielberg and some of his movies. That will be coming the weekend of December 10.

And then, after that, we kick it into high gear.

The movie of the year comes out on December 17. I am trying to see Spider-Man: No Way Home Thursday night so I can get a review out on the 17th. That weekend will be filled with Spidey content. I will also be doing my first ever spoiler-filled review on the Monday after No Way Home comes out.

Just a side note: Nightmare Alley also comes out the 17th. I want to see it, but looking at my schedule, there's almost no chance I'm able to. It's also not a very popular movie, so it isn't my number one priority. If there's anyone who was looking forward to a review of that, I'm sorry. I just don't see a way that I can fit it in.

After No Way Home, the finale of Hawkeye comes out. I will get a review out on that and update all my MCU rankings to include What If...?, Shang-Chi, Eternals, Hawkeye and No Way Home. I will also be adding a ranking of the MCU heroes.

If the universe is kind to me, I will also be able to squeeze in The Matrix Resurrections and give you guys a ranking of The Matrix movies, although that is somewhat unlikely. My fingers are crossed that I am able to do that, because Resurrections looks good, but I am not super confident.

After Hawkeye finishes up, my end of year rankings and Christmas Special will debut. Here's the plan:

December 24 - Every Single 2021 Horror Movie, Ranked

December 25 - 1st Annual Christmas Special: Elf, Every Single 2021 Comic Book Movie, Ranked

December 26 - Top 15 Best and Top 15 Worst Movie Moments of 2021

December 27 - Top 15 Best and Top 15 Worst Characters of 2021

December 28 - Top 15 Best and Top 15 Worst Performances of 2021

December 29 - Most Disappointing and Most Surprising Movie of 2021

December 30 - Top 7 Best and Top 7 Worst Movies of 2021

December 31 - Every Single Movie I Saw in 2021, Ranked

January 1 - My Top 15 Most Anticipated Movies of 2021

I hope you guys are as excited for this as I am. It's going to be a fun final stretch. After New Year's, I'll probably take a week and a half off and return with a review of Scream on the 14th.
