All 7 Super Bowl Trailers, Ranked

The Super Bowl was last night! As a lifelong Detroit Lions fan, I was happy to see Matthew Stafford get his first ring. It was a great game, and I hope both Burrow and Stafford make some more Super Bowl appearances in the future. Along with some awesome football, we got a ton of new trailers for movies coming out. So here is my ranking of every big trailer/TV spot we got at the Super Bowl that I watched.

7. The Lost City

I probably won't end up seeing The Lost City. It looks like a pretty bad and generic adventure flick. I don't really like Channing Tatum or Sandra Bullock. Brad Pitt is in it, too, which is fun, but he can't save what looks like a genuinely terrible movie. The Super Bowl trailer didn't do anything for me, so I put it in last.

6. Moon Knight

I didn't love the first trailer for Moon Knight, and the Super Bowl TV spot wasn't really a full trailer. Half of it was footage we have already seen, and the other half are really just knew shots of Moon Knight in action. It was cool, but it didn't really raise my anticipation for the show any higher than it already is.

5. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

I haven't seen The Lord of the Rings movies, but I thought that this was a solid trailer that made me feel like I knew about Middle-Earth. I only watched it once, so maybe I will get a better experience upon second viewing, but I enjoyed the first watch. It raised my interest. It looked like a fun fantasy series. It definitely made me more interested for what's coming in September.

4. The Adam Project

This is one that I hadn't heard anything about. The Adam Project is a sci-fi movie where Ryan Reynolds meets a younger version of himself. And it looked pretty cool. I didn't really catch a plot, but the concept is intriguing enough. I do want to check this out, because I thought it looked pretty great.

3. Nope

Nope was one of my most anticipated movies of the year for one reason: Jordan Peele. Peele is one of the top directors working today. Get Out is one of my favorite movies ever, so I'm excited for everything that has Peele's name attached to it. Nope gives a very different vibe than both Get Out and Us, but it looked interesting enough. It didn't blow me away, but I'm just excited for this movie, so that's why it's this high.

2. Jurassic World Dominion

I haven't seen either Jurassic World movies. The only Jurassic Park movie I've seen is the first one. But the trailer for Dominion totally sold me. Dinosaurs are finally living among humans, and the chaos that you'd expect has ensued. They bring back both Alan Grant and Ellie Sadler to stop this new Jurassic era. I previously wasn't planning on watching Dominion, but the trailer was great, and I think I will check it out now.

1. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was my second most anticipated movie of the year. After No Way Home, I wanted to see where they would take the multiverse...and this film looks like it is insane. The first trailer was just the tip of the iceberg. This second teaser gave us a look at the massive scale and insane things that this film has in store for us. I went nuts when I heard Patrick Stewart's voice during this trailer, and it got me so excited for all of the cameos while also selling me on the story. So I'd say this is a damn near perfect trailer, and I cannot wait for Multiverse of Madness.
